After visiting with board members individually, I decided not to make a recommendation at the board meeting in regards to Judge Fox’s injunction of Act 1002 of 2021. This is the reason masks were not discussed. No policy was implemented or changed.
We will still continue to encourage families to take all precautions to limit any exposure and transmission of the Covid-19 virus. We will continue to follow guidelines set forth by the Arkansas Department of Health regarding identification of close contacts.
